Great news for all fight fans. Even better news for fight fans who live in the Southeast and Midwest United Stated who want to witness high level mixed martial arts action live. You will soon have your chance. The B2 Fighting Series Night of Champions is coming to Kentucky.
This summer the B2 Fighting Series is bringing its biggest card yet to the Derby City, Louisville, Kentucky, on July 18, 2020.
MMA’s Premier Development League
If you don’t know, the B2 Fighting Series is a relatively new, but major MMA promotion in the United States. In a relatively short period of time, under the guidance of CEO Greg Bell, and such talent as former UFC stalwart Chris Lytle counted among a team of advisers, B2 Fighting has uniquely positioned itself as the premier developmental promotion in MMA.
If fighters want a chance to test their skills inside the world-famous UFC octagon or the Bellator cage, they are going to have to throw down in the B2 Fighting Series first. This is fantastic news if you are a fight fan. This means that there will be more great fights put on by a premier MMA promotion. And while the fights promise to be entertaining, you will also be able to be the first to discover the next big MMA star anytime B2 Fighting Series hosts an event.
Night of Champions
This summer the B2 Fighting Series will bring live MMA action to downtown Louisville, Kentucky, where it will hold its first Night of Champions on Saturday, July 18, 2020. The event will take place at Fourth Street Live! in Louisville. Although, the fight card for this historic night of mixed martial arts has yet to be released, it figures to showcase 22 fighters in 11 bouts, featuring some of the best up and coming talent in MMA.
All of the fighters competing at the Night of Champions will have fought at least once in the last twelve months. Their fights have taken place in 10 different states and 22 different cities, proving that B2 Fighting is much more that a local promotion. Indeed, it is MMA’s premier development league and has pooled this great talent, setting the stage for a exciting night of fighting.
The next Connor McGregor
Fight fans understand that top tier promotions like the UFC and Bellator are always open to new talent. These top fight promotions are constantly on the lookout for exciting fighters to fill out their rosters, and more importantly, fill up arenas and drive pay-per-view buys. Hardcore fans are likely familiar with UFC President Dana White’s Contender Series which features fights between not-yet-ready-for-prime-time fighters.
The UFC boss also has a hit YouTube series called “Looking for a Fight”. The show features White and two former UFC fighters, Matt Serra and Din Thomas, traveling the Untied States in search of the next Connor McGregor or Ronda Rousey. If you haven’t seen the show you can check out the most recent episode featuring former UFC Featherweight Champion Max Holloway and UFC Women’s Flyweight Rachael Ostovich:
Looking for a fight
No word yet on whether Dana White or Bellator president Scott Coker will be in Louisville to watch the action on July 18th. But don’t be surprised if you see Dana, Matt, and Din sitting cage-side. And don’t worry, you won’t have to look too hard. Trust me, you’ll notice them. If you can’t’ see them, you will hear them.
Make no mistake, the B2 Night of Champions will feature top-level fighters and high-quality fights. Even if White and Coker don’t make the trip, you can be sure that there will be representatives from the UFC and Bellator looking to sign the next MMA superstar. Trust me, you won’t want to miss these fights.
