Is John Danaher the best Jiu-Jitsu instructor?
Born in 1967, in Washington D.C. to a pilot in the New Zealand air force, he and his family returned to New Zealand where he was raised and grew up. He eventually earned his Bachelor’s and Masters’ degrees in philosophy from the University of Auckland, and then moved to New York City to work on a Ph.D. in philosophy at Columbia University.
