UFC newcomer Miquel Baeza looking sweet like caramel thunder KO’s veteran Matt Brown
UFC newcomer Miguel Baeza knocked out UFC veteran Matt Brown at 18 seconds of the second round. It was a sensational first round with each fighter scoring a big knockdown, but Baeza caught Brown clean with a left hook to the temple early in the second round as Brown came forward.
Brown hit the canvass and referee Jason Herzog stepped in to save the Ohio native from any further damage.
The babyfaced Baeza paid respect to the long time UFC stalwart Brown, saying: “When they first offered me the fight, I thought there was another Matt Brown in the division. It was an honor to share the octagon with a legend.”
Carmel Thunder remains undefeated at a professional MMA fighter. He is now officially 2-0 in the UFC.
Look for the UFC matchmakers to put the soft-spoken Floridian on a track towards UFC stardom. He’s got the look, he respectful, and he’s got the skills to back up the awful nickname, and bring the caramel thunder.
